After close to 65 years of life and almost 40 years of service to the church, Norm Kansfield has made a lot of friends. His kindness, compassion and love of God have touched many people over the years.

These are the same qualities that led him to officiate at his daughters’ wedding in Massachusetts in the summer of 2004. He is a man of courage and conviction who believes that the church should welcome gay and lesbian persons and should affirm their desire to life in lifelong covenant with one another.
